The Trimes’s Annual list of the most influential people in sport/La liste annuelle des personnalités du sport les plus influentes pour Trimes

The Globe and Mail’s annual list ranks the players with the influence, and the desire, to affect sport in Canada during 2012. Unfortunately, we don’t have the same definition of Sport. If you remove Hockey and Professional league (CFL, NBA, MLS) and TV network. The list is empty.

At Trimes.org we also have a list. It’s from our perspective of the sport (endurance) and people that are changing the game for good. Don’t forget, we are triathletes…

  2. You don’t know him, but Kris Mychasiw is near the top of this list. Taylor Milne got into Boston because of his influence, and within minutes of crossing the line was the co-headliner for the Wannamaker mile. Kris runs the show.

  3. By the way, I’m not sure what I did to get on the list, or to be tied with Kyla (if we are talking triathlon she’s miles ahead of me), but thank you.

    Maybe it’s because I’m also a hockey writer… 😉

  4. As the editor of Canadian Running magazine, we appreciate the recognition that we think we received as #28 on this list. But your blog has it listed as « Running Canada Magazine. » No such magazine exists to my knowledge, so you must mean « Canadian Running, » right?
