ITU Soulanges (Coteau-du-Lac) cancelled

A sad news for the triathlon scene in Canada.

Over the last few weeks, we have been in touch with the race directors and it is now confirmed … but even after two successful events in 2009 and 2010, the crew in Coteau have to pull the plug.

This is a very sad news, as this was a great opportunity for elites across Canada to compete  in an event made just for them ! Bringing experience and even abroad competition right here on our own soil.

There will be only one ITU event in Canada this season in Edmonton

Too many races too close in the calendar is the main reason for this cancellation.

A big thank you to the entire team in Coteau, Alex MacClean, Johane Levac and co, we wish them the best for their future projects !

Triahlon Quebec is also now looking for another event to replace this missing coupe du Quebec in Coteau.
